New Minisite : GrowVegetablesIndoors.com
So my new mini-site that I’ve developed was outsourced to someone I found on Namepros… I took one of my domains that made $3 in the last two months and decided if it was getting enough traffic just sitting there, it was worth developing. So three days and $45 later, and this is what we got.
GrowVegetablesIndoors.com is a four-page minisite about… wachten tot het… how to grow vegetables indoors. I’m kind of happy with how it turned out.
The four articles he wrote up are :
- The Benefits of Growing Vegetables Indoors;
- How to Grow Vegetables Indoors Using Container Gardening;
- How to Grow Vegetables Indoors Using Hydroponics; en
- What Are the Easiest Vegetables to Grow Indoors
I’m monetizing the minisite with a dash of google adsense in the articles and a little bit of amazon affiliate buttons carefully chosen to match the four articles. I’ll be happy if this minisite turns out to make the $45 I put into it plus its reg fee in the first year… so $1/week. If it makes less than 20c/week then the whole thing is an epic fail.
On a positive note, the ArcadeNinjas.com site I wrote about a few weeks ago has been doing pretty good. In the last two weeks, it’s made $3.15 in adsense revenue. I might be able to up that a little by putting a banner on the bottom of the first page and putting it up the flash games in the script page… but regardless, it’s probably a safe bet that I’ll recoup the $40 I put into it and have myself a little revenue generator.
